See where we are in the World
From their homes each volunteer cuts fabrics and sews masks to be donated to Front Line workers and people at risk. More than 23 volunteers from communities such as Newark, Elizabeth, Warren, Hillside, Union and Sayerville embraced our project.
Beginning second semester we welcome volunteers to be with us to prepare and share some love to the nursing home ! We celebrate the Holidays with fun party with elders donating what we made! And like every volunteer project we realize that we receive more that we give!
Whenever is possible we and the volunteers prepare meals and donate them to a place where we see that there is a need . Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful so we share meals as a gratitude.
A place that we are thankful to meet in person , play and eat with the kids. Even though we did not speak the language we exchanged lots of love ! We came home full of joy and hope that those kids reach their dreams ! And thankful that we are still in touch!
After hearing about a tragic fire that burned all of the geriatric diaper stock, we decided to raise some money to fill their stock and we also hand made some rag dolls for all of grandmas at the nursing home ! Few volunteers went to Brazil to give them the dolls and exchanged some happy moments .
Our volunteer Solange visited 75 residents at Vila Maior Social Center gifting them with a lavender heart sachet handmade by volunteers in the United States. This gesture comforted the elderly who live at the center. For each heart given there was a smile in return . The best payment a volunteer can get is a smile from the other end.
Our Founder Flavia was reached by a friend to help a community in deep poverty. She immediately joined forces and was able to raise some money and collect non-perishable foods and clothes. We ended up supporting 45 families that had absolutely nothing.
We are a non-profit 501C3 organization That strives to improve the well-being of vulnerable children and families by working with and supporting communities.
